Eh friend, thanks for visiting!
I guess you’re curious to know what’s going on behind the curtain over here. I’m not really one to shine the spotlight on myself (as I much to prefer to put the focus on all of the great things that other Canadians are doing), but I don’t want to leave you guessing!
MEET JENN GILL
I’m a stay-at-home mom in my thirties, living in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia with my husband and our two young daughters.
In my late twenties, I studied digital photography part-time, and became smitten with the niche of product photography. Seeking a means to combine my off- and on-line hobbies with my passion for image creation and the written word, I was drawn to blogging.
Some of my favourite topics to write about include family-friendly local events, green living, gift ideas, and children’s books. In my spare time you’re likely to find me developing my own recipes, re-arranging furniture, playing board games, or reading with my girls.
She’s my right-hand woman, and has become one of my most treasured friends over this blogging journey. Originally from Nova Scotia, she is now living in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia with her husband and their three young sons.
After working in customer service for over 16 years, she recently took the plunge to live her dream of being a homemaker. Her husband works as a Locomotive Engineer for Canadian National Railway, which often leaves her home alone with her three boys and the internet. Her house is very loud and pretty crazy but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Some of her favourite topics to write about include family-friendly local events, Do-It-Yourself projects, holidays and gift ideas, family-friendly movies, and parenting. In her spare time you’re likely to find her taxiing her boys to school, sports, Scouts and local events; making DIY projects, playing with her kids, or watching movies.
So, that’s us in a nutshell!
Please feel free to leave a bit about yourself in the comments, or ask us anything you’re curious to know about who we are and what we do. We want to connect with you too!
