It is that time of year again, apple season.
One of the great joys of living in the Metro Vancouver area is that there is no shortage of farmers to support. This is one of the easiest ways to give back to your community and also get in some great family time. Each year my family makes a trip to a local farm to pick enough apples to get us through the Fall/Winter season. With apples being the top choice of fruit in my house.
With apples being the top choice of fruit in my house, it not only cuts down our costs but it teaches our kids about giving back to our local community. With apples coming into season a bit early this year I thought I would put together a list of some local orchards you might want to check out.
