Canada Day Events in Metro Vancouver

Canada is celebrating it’s 149th Birthday this July 1st! I don’t know about you but my family loves to take part in our local Canada Day celebrations. This year with us being in a new city  we are looking forward to seeing what different activities are taking place and thought we would share what is taking place in Metro Vancouver this year.

Canada Day Fireworks at Canada Place
Where: Two fireworks barges are located in Coal Harbour and Dundarave in West Vancouver. Best viewing locations include:

  • Fireworks Viewing Zone at Canada Place
  • Harbour Green Park
  • Coal Harbour
  • Stanley Park (9 o’clock gun)
  • Crab Park

When:

  • Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
  • Entertainment from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Canada Day Fireworks at 10:30 p.m.

Admission: 

  • Adult tickets are $10.00 in advance, $15.00 on July 1
  • Children 5 & under are FREE
