When I first heard about TEDxStanleyPark I knew that I needed to learn more. TEDxStanleyPark is a not-for-profit intellectual variety show that has been held here in Vancouver since 2013. This is a day that consists of 15 live local speakers that will share innovative and optimistic solutions to tough challenges in today’s world.
The theme for this years talk is Ideas Into Action.
Our theme is Ideas to Action. This theme is born from our belief that all human achievement has 3 sources: the dreams that we dream, the choices that we make, and the actions that we take. And the most impactful of these is the actions we take. Our Ideas to Action theme guides our selection of talks to those that contain powerful calls to action that give legs to dreams of what could be.
Why would you want to attend a TEDx talk? For me, I am looking for something that will inspire my mind and trigger some positive change in my life and the lives of my family. Here are just a few of the speakers that I am looking forward to seeing at this years TEDxStanleyPark event.
