How you can stand up for clean water

Clean drinking water…

Did you know that 663 million people lack this simple human right?

It seems like such a simple and natural resource that most people in the world take for granted. But each day millions go without with basic human right. This year Brita Canada has continued their partnership with WE on a sustainable change initiative. The ME to WE campaign supports a borehole in Irkaat, Kenya, that provides the community of more than 1,800 with access to clean water.

The program launched in September, 2016, with Brita’s specially-marked filters and pitchers. This Spring, Brita will expand the limited-edition packaging to include a statement bottle.

Here are some facts about the ME to WE Brita Bottle:

  • 700 mL portable bottle with replaceable water filter
  • NSF certified to reduce Chlorine (taste and odour) and particulate
  • Just ONE Brita Bottle filter can replace up to 300 plastic water bottles
  • BPA free and dishwasher safe
  •  Remember to change your filter every 151 liters or approximately every 2 months.

Every purchase of a Brita ME to WE statement bottle or specially marked product will provide a year’s supply of clean water to a person in Irkaat, Kenya. ME to WE creates socially conscious products and experiences that allow people to do good through their everyday choices.

You can purchase your Me To We Brita Statement Bottle-to-Go at Wal-Mart, Real Canadian Superstore, Real Atlantic Superstore, Loblaws, and Zehrs locations.
