How to enter the Here’s My Canada Video Contest

Eligibility

All residents of Canada who are age six years or older at the time of entry are eligible to enter the Here’s My Canada video contest. Any entrant who is below the age of majority must have the permission of a parent/legal guardian.

Entries will be divided into four submission categories: Junior Category (ages 6-10); Intermediate Category (Ages 11-13); Senior Category (ages 14-18); Adult Category (ages 19 and older). All entries will also be automatically entered into a fifth category: People’s Choice in which the winner’s will be determined by public vote on the contest website.

Submission Guidelines

Both live action and animated video entries may be submitted. Each video may be up to a maximum of 30 seconds in length; and must contain content that depicts Canadian identity, history, or culture.

Entrants may submit up to three videos during the contest period, either by uploading them to the contest website, or by making and submitting video directly on the Here’s My Canada iTunes app.

Submission Deadline

Contest entries will be accepted until 11:59PM EST on August 31, 2017.
